1. General

1.1 shop.alfieatkins.com is a website owned by Bok-Makaren AB (also referred to as "Bok-Makaren", "Us", or "We") and is registered as a company in Sweden with the organization number 556251-4587.

1.2 Bok-Makaren’s VAT number is SE556251458701.

1.3 To contact Bok-Makaren regarding the information in these terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as the "General Terms") and other topics related to orders and purchases, please send an email to office@bokmakaren.se. 

1.4 Bok-Makaren’s General Terms apply to all orders placed by you as a customer (also referred to as "you" or "the customer") from Bok-Makaren on the domain shop.alfieatkins.com, including all subdomains and mobile websites. By placing an order, you agree to comply with Bok-Makaren’s General Terms. Please ensure that you have carefully read and understood the General Terms before placing your order.

The customer and Bok-Makaren may also be referred to as "the Parties".

1.5 Bok-Makaren reserves the right to amend these General Terms. The version of the General Terms that applies to your order is the version available on the Website at the time you place your order. The new version will not apply retroactively, and the Parties will only be bound by the General Terms valid on the day your order is placed.

1.6 In our General Terms, the following terms are defined as follows:

  • a) "Website" means the domain and subdomains belonging to shop.alfieatkins.com.
  • b) "You" means the customer placing an order.
  • c) "Customer" means the individual placing an order.
  • d) "Business Day" means a day that is not (i) a Saturday or Sunday, nor (ii) a public holiday.
  • e) "Purchase" means the purchase of products made by the Customer on the Website.
  • f) "Content" means all text, graphics, videos, images, and other information published on the Website.
  • g) "Third-party websites" means any website not belonging to Bok-Makaren’s domain.

  • h) "Contract" means the purchase you make of products in accordance with these General Terms.

1.7 These General Terms and any disputes arising from them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden. Any disputes shall be settled by Swedish courts, with Stockholm District Court as the first instance.


2. Agreement and Order

2.1 By completing a purchase on the Website, your order is subject to these General Terms.

2.2 To enter into a purchase agreement with us, you must be at least 16 years old and not under guardianship. You agree not to purchase our products for commercial, business, or resale purposes.

2.3 The Parties agree that product images on the Website do not have contractual value. The presence of products on the Website at a given time does not guarantee their availability. Bok-Makaren reserves the right to discontinue any product at any time.

2.4 Bok-Makaren reserves the right to reject your purchase and/or block your account for legitimate reasons, such as inability to process your payment, product out of stock, or suspicion of commercial, business, or resale intent.

2.5 The Website will guide you step-by-step on how to place your order and complete your purchase. A summary of your information will be displayed before you finalize your purchase at checkout. We advise you to carefully review all details before completing your purchase, as changes may not be possible afterward.

2.6 You will receive an order confirmation to the email address you provided once your purchase is completed. A contract between Us and You for your purchase is created when your order leaves our warehouse.

2.7 Products are subject to availability. If a product goes out of stock between the time you place your order and when it is dispatched, we have the right to cancel your purchase of that product. If this occurs, we will notify you and issue a refund using the same payment method used for the original transaction.

2.8 If we are unable to fulfill your order for any other reason, we will inform you via the email address you provided. If payment has already been made, a full refund will be issued using the same payment method.

 

3. Prices & Payment

3.1 For orders outside the EU, local customs duties, taxes, and import fees may apply and are not included in the listed prices. These charges are the responsibility of the customer. Delivery costs are clearly displayed at checkout before the purchase is completed.

3.2 Bok-Makaren reserves the right to change and update information without notice, including prices, details, and information displayed on the Website, to the extent permitted by applicable consumer protection laws.

3.3 If incorrect information has been provided for a product you purchased, please contact our customer service as stated in section 1.3.

3.4 Available payment methods may vary depending on your country of residence. Klarna is currently supported in selected countries. Please refer to the checkout page for the payment options available to you.

Please note that we do not accept cash or checks.

3.5 All payments are subject to validation checks and approval by Klarna. If Klarna does not approve your payment, you will be informed via email or at checkout, and the order will be canceled.

3.6 You will receive your receipt in the delivery confirmation sent to your email address. You are responsible for providing a correct email address and informing Us if your email address changes.

3.7 Occasionally, special offers and discounts are available on the Website. The terms for using these offers and discounts will be stated at the time of issuance.

3.8 We reserve the right to withdraw special offers and discounts at any time without notice.

 

4. Shipping & Delivery

We are not responsible for delays in shipping and delivery. All delivery times are estimates and cannot be guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by courier companies, customs processing, or events beyond our control. Ownership and risk of loss transfer to you once the products are handed over to the courier.

International Deliveries: Customs clearance procedures may cause delays. Bok-Makaren is not responsible for such delays.

 

5. Right of Withdrawal, Returns and Refunds

5.1 You may withdraw or return your order from the day you place it until 30 days after receiving the ordered products. Bok-Makaren accepts returns or withdrawal of items provided the product is in its original condition, unwashed, unused, and all tags remain attached.

Bok-Makaren will provide you with a return label. A return fee will be charged. Read more here.

If you wish to withdraw or return your purchase, please notify our customer service in writing and return the order within 14 days from the date you contacted us. A return slip must be included with the returned purchase.

If you have received a defective item, you must notify Bok-Makaren immediately and return the item in accordance with this section. For items deemed defective by Bok-Makaren, we will issue a full refund. These provisions do not limit your statutory rights.

International Returns: Customers outside Sweden are responsible for return shipping costs, customs duties, and handling fees unless the item is defective. Please contact customer service for instructions and a return label.

5.2 If you withdraw your purchase within 30 days, we will issue your refund via Klarna within 14 days from the date you notified us of your withdrawal. However, we will not issue the refund until we have received the returned product.

International Customers: Refunds may take longer to process due to international shipping and customs handling. Bok-Makaren is not responsible for delays caused by third-party logistics or customs authorities.

5.3 Once we have processed your return, you will receive a refund confirmation via email. Klarna will refund the amount paid. All refunds will be made using the same payment method you used when making your purchase.

5.4 FAIR USE POLICY

We are proud to offer superior customer service – but we take violations and abuse of our return policy very seriously.

Where deemed appropriate and necessary, we will investigate unusual patterns of return activity and take any necessary actions available to us. If there is reasonable suspicion that you have systematically abused our return policy, we reserve the right to cancel your future orders. Bok-Makaren reserves the right to enforce this policy globally, including for international customers.

 

6. Language

6.1 These General Terms are available in English for international customers. In case of discrepancies between language versions, the English version shall prevail.

 

7. Limitations of Liability and Warranties

7.1 Bok-Makaren does not guarantee that the Website will be continuously available.

7.2 All information and content on the Website should not be interpreted as advice of any kind from Bok-Makaren.

7.3 You agree not to use any of our products for commercial, business, or resale purposes. Bok-Makaren accepts no liability for loss of revenue/profit, loss of contracts, loss of business, loss of opportunities, or loss of reputation. These limitations apply regardless of your country of residence.

 

8. Trademark

8.1 All intellectual property rights, such as trademarks, names, and logos displayed on the Website are registered and unregistered trademarks belonging to Bok-Makaren. Prior approval from Bok-Makaren is required for the use of trademarks, images, or videos from the Website. It is strictly prohibited to copy, reproduce, download, post, transmit, or distribute any documents, images, or videos from the Website in any way. This applies globally, including for international use and distribution.


9. Colors & Measurements

9.1 Bok-Makaren strives to display the characteristics of its products as accurately as possible, including composition and colors. However, the color you see on the Website depends on the screen and technical device you use, and Bok-Makaren cannot guarantee that your device will accurately reproduce the colors.


10. Complaints

10.1 We take all complaints very seriously and aim to resolve disputes as quickly as possible. Customers wishing to make a complaint are asked to contact our customer service immediately in accordance with these General Terms. International customers are welcome to submit complaints in English.


11. Privacy Policy

11.1 When placing an order with us, Bok-Makaren will process your personal data. Please read more about how Bok-Makaren handles personal data in our Privacy Policy, which is also part of these General Terms. 

Bok-Makaren complies with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). International customers may be subject to additional local data protection laws.


12. Claims and Seller’s Warranty

12.1 As a customer, you have the right to make a claim on a product within three years. The defect should be reported as soon as it is discovered. Reporting a defect within two months is considered within a reasonable timeframe. You must be able to prove that the item was purchased from Bok-Makaren, and in such cases, please contact our customer service. If a claim is approved, Bok-Makaren will cover all associated costs.

Disputes should primarily be resolved through discussion with Bok-Makaren’s customer service. If a dispute cannot be resolved in agreement with Bok-Makaren’s customer service, you may contact ARN (The National Board for Consumer Disputes). More information is available at www.arn.se.

You may also submit a complaint online via the EU Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. If you submit a complaint via this platform, your case will automatically be forwarded to the appropriate national dispute resolution body, which will then contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute without involving a court.

This warranty applies to international purchases as well, subject to local consumer protection laws.

12.2 Any dispute regarding the interpretation or application of these Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with Swedish law and resolved as stated above or, ultimately, by a public court.
