The Big Book of Bill & Bolla

Bill gets a little sister. Bolla grows every day, but not in understanding. She becomes her own person and not like anyone else.

The story is about Gunilla Bergström’s own children, Pål and Boel. Boel has a disability, and the rhymes tell about her life when she was 3–4 years old. They have become almost classic supplementary reading at teacher educational institutions, but are just as funny and touching for anyone.

The Big Book of Bill & Bolla … he so wise and she a scatterbrain includes two titles: Rhymes and Nonsense about Bill and Bolla, first published in 1978, and Silly and Sensible – More Rhymes about Bill and Bolla, first published in 1979.
